We provide support services for marine research activities to all the marine scientific community, both from the University of Vigo, and from any other public or private institution.
Our services are organised as follows:
- Supply of marine biological resources
(both collected from the natural environment upon request or cultivated/maintained in collection) - Use of marine laboratories, facilities, equipment or other infrastructure
- Sample processing and analysis
- Support for the access to coastal ecosystems
(field sampling, underwater work, diving equipment and support to other fieldwork) - Oceanography and mesocosms services
(continuous observation of the sea physic variables and oceanographic studies in the marine environment) - Research support technical services
(Maintenance of experimental cultures, technical support with marine livestock husbandry, experimental setup, etc.) - R&D services (contract research with support from CIM-UVIGO research teams)
