O Environmental Physics Laboratory (Ephyslab) of the Marine Research Center of the University of Vigo (CIM-UVigo) offers a pre-doctoral contract for the analysis of the impact of climate change on renewable energy facilities.

- Salary approx .: € 1275 gross / month prorated, extra payments included

- Place of work: Ephyslab Group, Campus da Auga, Campus Ourense.
Requirements:
Applicants must meet, at the end of the application submission period, the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Physics (specialization in the target field of the contract will be valued).
- Knowledge of Python program.
- Knowledge and research experience in renewable energy (solar and wind).
- Experience in studying the impact of climate change on renewable energies.
- Experience writing reports in the renewable energy sector: life cycle analysis, seasonal and sub-seasonal prediction.
- Experience in preparing consulting reports.
- Experience in presentation of results in international scientific conferences.
- Experience in environmental and climate management will be valued.
Valuation criteria:
- Professional experience (40%): Accredited professional experience in research in Earth Sciences
- Training (30%): Training or specialization courses related to statistics, numerical modeling.
- Interview (30%): The committee can call an interview to candidates who have exceeded a score of 25% in the Experience and Training sections.
