Use of marine laboratories, facilities, equipment or other infrastructure

ECIMAT has several rooms and laboratories with different equipment to undertake research projects and provide services to its own researchers’ community. In the Facilities sections you can consult the location and characteristics of each of those spaces.

Laboratories have equipment for analysis, microscope, measurement and sterilization, and equipment for samples processing and conservation. Likewise, ECIMAT has equipment for sampling at sea (e.g. CTDs) and diving.  All equipment follow preventive maintenance procedures, as well as calibration and verification procedures (for measuring equipment).
