On friday the 30th of November, to celebrate Aquaculture Day, Vigo Oceanographic Center (Spanish Institute of Oceanography) and the Station of Marine Science of Toralla (ECIMAT – University of Vigo) organize a series of conferences about current topics in aquaculture research.
These conferences aim to contribute to the outreach of aquaculture research and to promote a meetingpoint for aquaculture professionals.
This activity falls under the scope of a national initiative coordinated by the National Aquaculture Observatory Foundation (OESA Foundation) called “Aquaculture Day”. OESA´s objective is to show to the society how important aquaculture is for our country, and to show the industry´s compromise with sustainable development, with R&D and with the promotion of welfare and wealth in rural and coastal areas.
