Deployment of sensor networks and autonomous systems integrating biological and physicochemical information to improve ocean monitoring, automate the detection of ecological changes, and enable early warning systems with high spatial and temporal resolution.

AI, advanced analytics, and marine digital services

Application of artificial intelligence and big environmental data analytics to improve ecological prediction, optimize resource and risk management, and develop digital services and platforms that provide useful information to public and private stakeholders in the blue economy.

Interoperable and FAIR marine data infrastructures

Development of open, standardized, and interoperable marine data infrastructures and repositories, with management protocols aligned with FAIR principles, integrated into European networks and accompanied by open science training to facilitate international collaboration.
