Will host the presentation of the Guide to the Marine Bony Fishes of the Iberian Peninsula and the Balearic Islands, written by Rafael Bañón and edited by CIM researcher Jesús Souza Troncoso.
The publication provides detailed information on 317 species of marine bony fish, ranging from coastal and intertidal species to those inhabiting depths of more than 1,000 metres. Featuring colour photographs and information on the identification, habitat, biology and distribution of each species, the guide is a valuable reference tool for teaching and research, the fishing sector, oceanographic vessels and anyone interested in marine biodiversity.
The event will include representatives from the Universidade de Vigo, the Marine Research Centre and various organisations linked to the marine and business sectors.
