Work to be Performed
Research staff for the processing and analysis of wave climate data and simulations using wave propagation models.
Functions to be Performed
Climate data processing and analysis.
Development of specific software in Matlab and Python.
Execution of wave propagation simulations using models such as WaveWatch III or SWAN.
Gross Monthly Salary
€1,890.00 (including prorated extra payments)

REQUIREMENTS AND MERITS
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree or Degree in Physics
MERITS TO BE ASSESSED

Academic training and other training courses (a PhD related to Physical Oceanography will be especially valued) — 40 points

Knowledge of programming languages (Matlab and Python) — 15 points

Experience in the use of numerical wave propagation models — 15 points

Personal interview. The interview will be conducted only with candidates who achieve a minimum of 50 points in the sum of merits — 15 points
