Experimental field work, data analysis, interpretation of results and communication of scientific data
Functions to be Performed
Design and execution of field work.
Collection of environmental parameters.
Laboratory sample processing.
Data analysis with R (GLM, GAM) and QGIS.
Writing scientific articles.
Report writing.
Gross Monthly Salary
€1,700.00 (including prorated extra payments)

REQUIREMENTS AND CANDIDATE MERITS
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Degree in Marine Sciences and Master’s Degree in Marine Ecology.
Diving certification: PADI Open Water
MERITS TO BE ASSESSED
Item No. 1
Academic training and other training courses. English B2. Driving license B — 35 points
Item No. 2
Experience in laboratory and/or field work (minimum 6 months).
Previous experience working with macroalgae cultures and in collaboration with fishing guilds will be valued.
Previous experience in experimental field work with barnacles and mussel seed collection will be valued.
Specific training courses related to the position.
QGIS course. — 50 points
Item No. 3
Personal interview. The interview will be conducted only with the 3 candidates who achieve a minimum of 50 points in the sum of merits — 15 points
