A 4-year FPI predoctoral contract is offered within the framework of the AURORA-NUM project (PID2024-155465OB-C21), focused on numerical modeling, HPC, and applied engineering in the field of marine and coastal engineering.
The selected candidate will work on the development and application of high-fidelity numerical models to analyze the stability, resilience, and optimization of breakwater armor units, including experimental validation and participation in scientific publications and international conferences.
Recommended profile: candidates with a background in aerospace, civil, industrial, mechanical, or computer engineering, physics, mathematics, or related fields, with an interest in numerical simulation and programming.
