CONTRACT DETAILS
Type of contract: Contracts for the execution of projects and the implementation of plans (Art. 32bis Science Law). Indefinite duration.

Work to be carried out: Development of a global database of benthic foraminifera for the Quaternary
Functions to be carried out:
- Search and selection of articles or reports containing quantitative and qualitative information on benthic foraminifera and paleoenvironmental data (Quaternary), as well as analysis of the chronological context.
- Digitization of micropaleontological and paleoenvironmental information.
- Digitization of metadata.
- Compilation of the information.
- Encoding of data according to specific standards.
- Participation in project meetings.
- Attendance at conferences or congresses to disseminate research results.
Gross monthly salary: €1,450.00 (including the prorated extra payments)
Expected start date: From the resolution of this call, on the date established therein
Work schedule: Full-time (37.5 hours/week)

REQUIREMENTS AND MERITS OF CANDIDATES
Required qualification: Baccalaureate
Merits to be considered:
- Work experience as a technician in universities or public institutions
- English language certificate (minimum B2 or equivalent)
- Proven prior work experience in the compilation of scientific data (biological, geological) and in database organization
- Knowledge or specific training in data handling with R or Python
- Personal interview. The interview will be conducted only with the two candidates who reach a minimum of 50 points in the sum of merits.
