The “Ecotoxicology and Marine Pollution” (Ecotox) team of the “Coastal Ecology” group (EcoCost, CIM-UVigo) is offering a contract as a laboratory technician specializing in marine cultures in charge of the European project “GLAUKOS – Circular Solution for the Textile Industry”, financed by the “Bio-Based Industries Joint Undertaking” (BBI JU), within the framework of the H2020 program (agreement nr. 887711).
Requirements
- Qualification FP2, superior technician in aquaculture production.
- Experience in cultivation of Cyprinodom variegatus.
- Degree in animal experimentation, A and B (Order ECC/566/2015)
Evaluation criteria
- Professional experience in similar positions
- Organizational capacity
- Experience in fish larval culture
- Knowledge in assembling recirculation system installations for marine cultures (RAS)
- Telematic assistance in aquaculture facilities
- Experience in aquariology.
- Other qualifications in animal welfare and transport.
- Basic knowledge in pathological diagnosis of fish
Contract conditions
- Duration: 30 months (6 months trial period)
- Dedication: full-time (40 hours per week)
- Gross monthly salary: €1600.00
- Place of work: Ecimat, CIM- University of Vigo.
