The Sedimentary Basin Analysis (BASAN) research group of the CIM-UVigo offers a contract for predoctoral research staff to develop research in charge of the PROJECT: Contribution of marine ecosystem services of protected areas to human well-being, co-financed by the FEMP (EUROPEAN MARITIME AND FISHERIES FUND) within the framework of the “PLEAMAR PROGRAM. BIODIVERSITY FOUNDATION”.
Contract characteristics
- Duration: 2 months, extendable.
- Place of work: Faculty of Marine Sciences. University of Vigo.
- Total contract cost: 3270 euros.
Requirements
General requirements:
- Have reached the age of eighteen and have not reached the age generally established for retirement.
- Ter capacidade funcional para o desempeño das tarefas do perfil solicitado.
- Not having been separated, through disciplinary proceedings, from the service of any of the Public Administrations, nor being disqualified from performing public functions.
- Be registered as a job seeker.
Specific requirements:
- Graduates in Biology, Environmental Sciences or Marine Sciences. The degree must have been obtained after 1-1-2017
- Master’s degree in Biodiversity, Sustainable Development or similar.
- Demonstrable experience in the assessment of ecosystem services.
Selection process
The selection process will consist of an assessment of the candidate’s CV, experience and skills, and a personal interview if necessary. It will be decided by a committee formed by those responsible for the project.
