The Geological Oceanography and Biogeochemistry group of the CIM-UVigo offers a part-time contract within the project “Analysis of Coastal Resilience to Climate Change: Impact of Extreme Events and Coastal Erosion (ReCost)”
Technical profile:
- Experience in the use of topographic equipment (GPS and LiDAR) and aerial photogrammetry in the area of coastal dynamics.
- Experience in processing topographic and aerial photogrammetric data.
- Management of different databases and data analysis.
- Knowledge of GIS and geospatial modeling.
- Knowledge of Matlab and Python.
Requirements
- Possess a graduate/bachelor’s degree or equivalent in branches related to the requested technical requirements.
- It will be positively valued if you have a master’s degree related to geoinformatics.
- Experience in image processing and analysis with Matlab and Python.

Contract conditions
- Employment relationship: Research contract.
- Duration: 4 months
- Expected date of incorporation: 1/03/2020.
- Working hours: Part-time (20 hours per week).
- Gross monthly salary: around €750.
