The Environmental Physics laboratory (EPHYSLAB) of the CIM-UVigo offers a pre-doctoral research contract under the project “LAGRANGIAN ANALYSIS OF THE IMPACT ON THE GLOBAL HYDROLOGICAL CYCLE OF THE PRINCIPAL MOISTURE TRANSPORT MECHANISMS” (LAGRIMA), RTI2018-095772-B-I00
General conditions:
- Duration: 12 months
- Estimated start date: March 2020
- Working hours: Full-time (40 hours per week)

- Remuneration: approx. €1,200 gross/month.

Requirements:
Applicants must meet the following requirements by the application deadline:
General requirements:
- Have reached the age of eighteen and have not reached the age established, in general, for retirement.
- Ter capacidade funcional para o desempeño das tarefas do perfil solicitado.
- Not be separated, through disciplinary proceedings, from the service of any of the Public Administrations, nor be disqualified from performing public functions.
Specific requirements (mandatory):
- Bachelor’s degree in Meteorology or related degrees (grade higher than 8.0).
- Master’s degree in Meteorology or related degrees (grade higher than 8.0).
- Programming experience and knowledge.
- Interested in completing a Doctoral Thesis on the project topic
Evaluation:
Phase I: Curriculum evaluation (0-10 points): Academic record (60%), Technical experience (35%), Other merits (5%)
Phase II: Interview (0-10 points). If deemed necessary for those candidates who exceed 6 points in Phase I.
Evaluation Committee:
Formed by researchers participating in the LAGRIMA project.
