New postdoctoral position in econometrics/quantitative social-ecological science

The Future Oceans Lab, a research group at the Marine Research Centre of the University of Vigo, is excited to announce a job offer for a postdoctoral researcher with training in quantitative approaches to environmental social sciences and economics. This is a full-time, 2-year position to join our laboratory at the University of Vigo, Spain.

The postdoctoral researcher will work with the Principal Investigator (Elena Ojea) and the project team to explore the governance and management conditions that drive fisheries resilience. The selected candidate will join the project “CLOCK: Climate Adaptation to Shifting Stocks”, an ERC Starting Grant funded by the European Research Council.
CLOCK conducts interdisciplinary research to address emerging questions on climate change adaptation in relation to shifting fish stocks. We are an active research team working on climate change adaptation in marine systems, currently contributing to the 6th IPCC Assessment Report. In addition, the candidate will have the opportunity to collaborate and undertake research stays at leading international institutions.

Interested and qualified candidates may send their application materials, following the instructions in the EURAXESS job offer (the same as in the PDF), to futureoceanslab@uvigo.es.
