ECIMAT hosts a training course for employees in the aquaculture sector in October

On October 24 and 25, 2018, the course “Innovation and sustainability in the aquaculture sector: good practices, new technologies and eco-efficiency” will be held at ECIMAT, organized by ARIEMA Enerxía e Medio S. L., with the support of the Marine Research Center of the University of Vigo and the Campus do Mar.

The course is part of the project “SEMILLA. Training and advice to the agricultural and aquaculture sector on sustainability, efficiency and innovation” and is aimed primarily at workers in the aquaculture sector. It will address aspects of the sector’s positioning, R&D&I priorities, energy efficiency, sustainable aquaculture, nutrition, waste and animal health, with the aim of providing workers in the sector with knowledge that increases their environmental awareness, while also providing new models that increase the sustainability of aquaculture production.

The training activity, lasting 10 hours, is free for recipients and will take place in the afternoon to facilitate attendance.

Registrations will be open until October 22, 2018. To register, it is necessary to send the participation request form to semillafb@ariema.com along with the documentation required therein.
