The MEGP 2014 workshop will be held in Vigo (Spain) from October 14 to 16, 2014. Its objective is to introduce ecologists, marine biologists, geneticists, and evolutionary biologists to the use of next-generation sequencing (NGS) data for population genetics analyses commonly used in the fields of ecology and evolution, as well as to provide participants with practical experience in these analyses.
The workshop will include six lectures by invited speakers and organizers, as well as six practical sessions in which participants will receive guidance from the invited speakers in analyzing different datasets.
It will take place at the ECIMAT Marine Station and the University of Vigo, both located in Vigo (Spain), from October 14 to 16, 2014.
There are 30 places available for the workshop, and priority will be given to PhD students over postdoctoral researchers, faculty members, and others if necessary.
The APPLICATION DEADLINE is September 15, 2014, and the REGISTRATION FEE is €20.
