OcéanoEcimat has just launched a series of measures aimed at facilitating the dissemination to society of the knowledge generated by the research activities of the scientists in the Group. With this, we aim to open a window into the research carried out at ECIMAT and within the Group’s research teams to our community, using new technologies and digital media.
Among these measures, today we present the first article published on the Group’s Blog, titled “Sustainable Growth and Marine Science.” The Group Coordinator, Ricardo Beiras, shares his perspective on the challenges we face regarding the exploitation of marine resources, especially in a region like Galicia, where the sea is a key part of its identity.
The OcéanoEcimat Blog, in addition to being a space for outreach, aims to be a place for the exchange of opinions, promoting scientific and technological debate and bridging the gap between the work of our scientists and society. In it, our researchers will share their perspectives on current topics related to marine research.
