On June 29 and 30, 2010, the conference “Sustainable Exploitation of Shellfish and Aquaculture Resources” was held at the Caixa Galicia Nautical Headquarters in Sanxenxo. The first of the two days focused on aquaculture, while the second was dedicated to shellfishing.
The conference attracted a large audience, mainly composed of researchers, industry professionals, and administrative staff with responsibilities in this field. During the event, participants explored tools to monitor, diversify, reduce the impact of, and improve the efficiency of aquaculture and shellfishing activities in order to ensure their sustainability.
